Competitions Cadets and seniors are also heavily involved in both local and national competitions, including the National Speed and Lifesaving Championships and local Twilight and other lifesaving competitions. The summer midweek twilight series provides excellent opportunities for all to get involved. Our competitions officer Danni Burton is responsible for organising teams for all these competitions. Transport to and from external (outside Dorset) competitions and entries are subsidised where appropriate and dedication to training has been shown by the individual or team concerned.
